Launching Female Only Construction HTQ Cohorts

a woman consruction worker

We are excited to announce the launch of our Female Only Construction HTQ Cohorts, a pioneering initiative aimed at empowering women in the construction sector.

This idea is designed to break down barriers, provide comprehensive training, and create a supportive community where women can thrive and succeed in a field that has long been out of reach for many.

Why Female Only Cohorts?

The construction industry has historically been male-dominated, with women making up only a small percentage of the workforce. While the number of women entering construction has been gradually increasing, the industry still faces challenges related to gender equality, including workplace culture, access to training, and career advancement opportunities.

Our Female Only Construction Cohorts aim to address these challenges by creating a safe, supportive environment where women can learn, grow, and succeed together. By focusing exclusively on women, we can tailor our programmes to address the unique needs and experiences of female participants, providing them with the tools, resources, and confidence they need to excel in the construction industry.

Construction Higher Technical Qualifications

As we prepare to launch our Higher Technical Qualification courses, we're excited to announce that the female only cohorts will be available in:

  • HNC in Construction Management

  • HNC in Quantity Surveying

These cohorts are more than just a training programme; they are a comprehensive approach to empowering women in the construction industry. Here’s what participants can expect:

1. Hands-On Training:

Our cohorts offer extensive hands-on training in various ways. Participants will gain practical experience that will prepare them for the demands of the job site.

2. Industry Recognised Qualifications:

- Upon completion of the programme, participants will receive industry recognised qualifications, enhancing their credibility and employability within the construction sector.

3. Mentorship and Networking:

We connect participants with experienced professionals who can offer guidance, advice, and mentorship. Building a strong network is crucial for career development, and our programme facilitates these connections.

4. Career Support and Placement:

Our cohorts are designed not just to train but to place women into meaningful careers. We work closely with industry partners to ensure that our graduates have access to job opportunities and are supported in their transition into the workforce.

5. Supportive Community:

The programme creates a strong sense of community among participants. By working together, women can share experiences, challenges, and successes, building a network of support that extends beyond the classroom.
