Augusts Apprentice of the month graphic

August's apprentices of the month are here! A time to celebrate the achievements and talent of our learners who are doing exceptionally well on their apprenticeship programme!

For August's apprentices of the month, we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on two of our fantastic learners, who have been recognised by their tutors for demonstrating outstanding performance.

August's Build, Trade and Facilities Apprentice of the Month

Our Build, Trade and Facilities Apprentice of the Month has been awarded to:

Olivia Scott

Olivia is on our Facilities Management apprenticeship, and works for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.

Here's what Neil, her tutor, had to say about why she was deserving of this award.

"Olivia is a Facilities Management apprentice. I have been working with Olivia for around 122 months, and during that time, she has never failed to impress me with the effort she puts into everything she does and the quality of work she produces. She remains well ahead of schedule in her programme duration and is on course to complete her apprenticeship early. She is becoming a first-rate facilities professional who is tough on herself and has high expectations of excellence. Recently, she has learnt the importance of compliance in all FM activities, procurement, service delivery, and contractor management. I have no hesitation in recommending Olivia for apprentice of the month."

August's Professional Services Apprentice of the Month

Our Professional Services Apprentice of the Month has been awarded to:

Martin Gittins

Martin has recently completed his Coaching Professional apprenticeship, and worked at Shell Energy.

Here's what his tutor, Kelly, had to say about why he was deserving of this award.

"I am pleased to nominate Martin for GLP Apprentice of the Month. Over the term of his Level 5 Coaching Professional apprenticeship, Martin has experienced a real roller-coaster of change within the organisation. Despite the ups and downs, he has remained incredibly motivated, dedicated and focused on his work and training. His resilience and positive attitude during this time have been truly admirable, and have contributed to his experience within coaching.

I have thoroughly enjoyed supporting Martin throughout his apprenticeship. He has consistently shown a willingness to learn and grow, always taking feedback on board and applying it to his work. Martin's ability to stay on track and maintain his enthusiasm, even when things were uncertain, deserves recognition. He has been a pleasure to work with, and I am confident he will continue to thrive as a coach."

Congratulations to our two Apprentices of the Month! This is an achievement to be proud of.

Keep an eye out for next month's outstanding apprentices!
